How we work

Every guide is written by a real editor, not a script. We start with a clear question ("what's the best cordless drill for weekend projects?"), narrow to a shortlist based on user feedback and expert reviews, and hands-on-test where possible. Where we can't test, we say so.

We don't accept payment for placement. Ranking is based on the criteria stated in each guide — not on which retailer pays the highest affiliate commission.
